A Shared Vision
It began with a spark between Peter, a Belgian scientist with a passion for design, and Shella, a warm-hearted Ilocana with a bachelor's degree in children's education. What started as a connection across continents blossomed into a marriage and a shared mission to build something meaningful in her homeland.
Together with their daughter Thalia, Peter and Shella envisioned a place that would honor Ilocano heritage while embracing the future. Shella's deep roots in the community and her educator's heart shaped the soul of the project, while Peter brought global perspective and creative vision. Alona's Sunkissed Escape® was born from this family dream—a bridge between cultures in the heart of Caaoacan.
